Introduction

The World Fair Trade Organization in Latin America (WFTO-LA) has several members in 9 countries, which have the principles of Fair Trade at the heart of their mission and at the core of their productive and commercial activities.

WFTO represents the fair trade chain from production to sale, including producer cooperatives and associations, export marketing enterprises, importers, retailers, fair trade networks, and support organizations.

Our members are socially committed enterprises that practice Fair Trade and are monitored under the WFTO Fair Trade Standard.

Vision

To be recognized in the region as the legitimate representative of organizations that promote fair trade and as a driver of market access, based on the technical and business capabilities of its members, as well as the valuation of cultural heritage.

Mission

To strengthen the advocacy, commercialization, monitoring, and support capabilities of WFTO-LA members, and to promote cooperative relations among them and with other social actors, in order to contribute to improving the living conditions of small producers in Latin America, while adhering to the principles of Fair Trade.
